Which intelligence to use: Plus, Pro or Max

Pick the right Hex AI for each feature by type of work, not by price.

HexTrack offers three intelligences: Hex AI Plus, Hex AI Pro and Hex AI Max. They are not "worse" and "better", they are built for different kinds of work, and the stronger one spends more credits per answer.

Pick by type of work, not by price.

Hex AI Plus: volume and triage

Use it when the task is a simple decision, many times a day:

  • Classifying which CRM stage a lead is in.
  • Separating real customers from the rest.
  • Answering simple, repeated questions ("what are your hours?", "do you deliver?").

It is most of the day-to-day work and it uses the fewest credits. Start here.

Hex AI Pro: customer conversation

Use it when the answer depends on understanding context: the customer writes messily, changes their mind halfway, asks three things at once, or replies with a photo.

This is the choice for support and qualification, in short, whenever the conversation represents your company in front of someone who might buy.

Hex AI Max: complex rules

Use it when many conditions stack up and a mistake is expensive:

  • Closing an order with variants, minimum quantity and production time.
  • Computing a value with exception rules.
  • Applying a policy that changes case by case.

It spends more credits per answer, so it pays off where a mistake costs more than the credit does.

Rule of thumb

  1. Start on Plus.
  2. If the AI sounds shallow, repeats a question already answered, or loses track of the conversation, move up to Pro.
  3. Only go to Max if it is getting the rules wrong, not the wording. If the problem is how it writes, fix the prompt instead of moving up.

You can mix them

Each feature is configured separately: assistant, CRM Autopilot and Coach. You don't have to use the same one everywhere.

The most common setup is Autopilot on Plus (it only classifies stages) with the assistant on Pro (it talks to customers). That way you pay for the more expensive intelligence only where it changes the outcome.

What about credit usage?

Each level has a cost per message, per qualification and per Coach review, and the number shows under the selector when you pick one. Switching intelligence changes usage from the next answer onward, nothing is charged retroactively.
